Is that Prop Cycle?

You recognise the 1996 Namco arcade machine being used in this Japanese game show, but normally it looks like this:

Yet on this Japanese game show – Chojigen Time Bomber – it’s been turned into a tandem, where the player in front steers and the player behind pedals. Plus the player at the back is wearing gloves that deliver an electric shock every time the cycle collides with a wall.

And the game is different, too. There are skull balloons that cause an instant game over if a player touches them.

It’s not the only Prop Cycle variant either – there was a Full Scale version of Prop Cycle, just like Ridge Racer Full Scale – at Namco’s Wonder Eggs theme park.
