You encounter the creator of Dragon’s Lair, Rick Dyer.

Rick’s company, RDI, is working on a home LaserDisc console called Halcyon that will not only play cinematic games, but can also recognise your voice.

But Rick’s appearance on the TV show Computer Chronicles doesn’t go to plan as the Halcyon struggles to recognise host Stewart Chiefet’s commands.

The Halcyon was due to launch in 1985, but RDI went under before it was officially released. It was expected to sell for around $2,500 – equivalent to more than $6,200 today. Crumbs.
